Chip Duden > I love this shot. It was a "grab shot" while I was in Pennsylvania on business. This old farmhouse was being re-furbished and the whole roof line, cropped out of frame, was covered in blue tarp. I jumped out of my rental car at the intersection and grabbed one quick photo of the house, which turned out great. This photo looks great with a black or dark brown matting.
Chip Duden > American Burnout: I consider this to be one of my "trademark" shots. Taken on a Saturday morning in June, 2004, I had left the house early to go to Rosenblatt Stadium, hoping to find some interesting shots where the College World Series is held. Nothing catching my eye, I kept driving to the Old Market area of downtown Omaha, where a fire had just burned out a refurbished condo building the previous week. The dawns early light was spectacular, and the flag seen waving from the Durham Western Heritage Building adds much emotion to the picture in this age of 9/11. This photo looks great when matted and framed and is always a conversation piece.
